Hi Everyone,
So for those of you who are new to desktop customization, I thought I'd share some information about how to get the most out of the icons you received when you purchased or downloaded one of our hypersuites.
Changing Desktop Icon Sizes
By default Windows XP sets your desktop icons at a very tiny 32 x 32 pixel resolution, but it does not have to stay that way. You can manually reset the size of your icons to a larger, more robust size. Here's how...
Step 1. Right-click on your desktop and click Properties.
Step 2. Click the tab marked "Appearance".
Step 3: On the bottom of the Appearance section click "Advanced"
Step 4. In the Advanced Appearance Window, you will see a drop down menu under the name "Item:" that by default says "Desktop".
Click the arrow and choose "Icon".
Step 5. Next click the "Size:" setting arrows or simply type in a number. Now this is important. You must put one of the following numbers
in order for this to work properly and not see jagged icons. We recommend the following sizes: 48 or 64.
Step 6. Click OK. Click OK again in the main Properties window.
Step 7. Reboot. You must reboot so the icon spacing can be readjusted.
Any deviation from those icon sizes and you may have jagged icons. Keep in mind while our icons have larger sizes included inside of them, your default Windows XP icons do not. So you'll have to see what works for you. I normally set mine to 64.
Very Important: Don't forget to reboot!
